Ion-exchange system for continuous decolorization or demineralization of sugar syrups, fully automatic, designed so that it can be easily integrated into any processing unit.

• The equipment is applicable for sugar syrups with turbidity low enough to achieve the necessary value, depending on the final product. The decolorization is made with syrups that have low or medium color level.
  
  
• Decodemi consists of ion exchange columns (quantity according to the required process), designed to work with anion and cation resins, in mixed or separate beds, according to the characteristics of the granular sugar to use.
  
  
• Availability to work 24 hours or more continuously, without stops, according to the data from sugar to treat after the dissolution. This solution is viable thanks to the Contimix, whose output can be fed directly into this system.

• Capacity: 5.000 to 40.000 LPH (Higher flow rates upon request).
• Income sugar syrup: ≤ 350 ICUMSA color level.
• Operation Temperature: 60 to 70°C.
• °Brix to be processed: up to 67 °Brix.
• Materials in contact with syrup: AISI 304 (Optional 304L/316/316L).

  Thought from its origin to be compatible with in-line CIP and designed to ensure a thorough cleaning.

• All the information, at any time
  Constant data registry, exportable, filterable by production, with the possibility to access all the records of the equipment through the ethernet network from the device that the customer defines.

• Modifications control
  The edition of recipes is accessible by authorized operators that allows their creation and/or modification. This allows the simple creation and/or modification of recipes with flexibility. Optionally, it is possible to have a database with the extended history of the elaborations that have been carried out in the system.

• Easy operation
  The process is controlled through the touch-screen provided by the equipment as HMI, from where all the operations can be carried out in a simple and intuitive way. Decodemi has the option to replicate the screen and the operation of the equipment remotely via an installed PC in any area of the plant.

• Low treatment cost
  The cost of treatment is less than that of the other processes because the resins used have a higher level of regeneration, and the amount of activated carbon and diatomaceous earth and used are lower.

• Process flexibility
  It is possible to attach an Aneko treatment of activated carbon for a final polishing of the syrup as well as the removal of molecules of smaller size, such as smells, light colors, among others. Additionally, an Aneko pasteurization system for sugar syrup can be easily integrated for a microbiological reinsurance of the product.
